Jamie S. Kaltenbach | Vice President of Finance, Accounting

Responsibility

Ms. Kaltenbach is responsible for the development of accounting policies, establishment and maintenance of internal control procedures, cash management, information system support and financial reporting of the managed portfolio.

Experience

Ms. Kaltenbach has over 20 years of experience in accounting and reporting within the commercial real estate industry with such firms as Ernst & Young, Morgan Stanley, Jones Lang LaSalle and Cousins Properties in Atlanta. Ms. Kaltenbach serviced commercial real estate clients with tax reporting requirements for investors and handled 4 major projects, each over 1 million square feet.

Education/Milestones

Ms. Kaltenbach received both her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Tennessee. She completed her Certified Public Accountant designation in Texas and holds a Georgia Real Estate License.

 

Sue Bailey

Responsibility

Sue Bailey holds the position of Accounting Manager. She manages the day to day operations for the Property Accounting group, providing leadership for the accounting staff. She is also responsible for the establishment of internal control policy and procedures, financial reporting, 1099 reporting, cash management including banking relationships and information system support.

Experience

Ms. Bailey has over 25 years accounting and financial reporting experience. Prior to joining the team, Ms. Bailey was at CB Richard Ellis for 10 years where her last role was Accounts Payable Manager in the corporate arena where she provided leadership to a staff of 7 employees. Her previous experiences also include Portfolio Controller for CB Richard Ellis' Commercial Property Accounting Division, Senior Accountant for RealtiCorp, Inc. and Corporate Accountant for BB&T.

Education/Milestones

Ms. Bailey has an Associates Degree in Accounting from Greenville Technical College and has received her Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies from Bryson University.

 

Luci Douglas

Responsibility

Luci Douglas currently holds the position of Senior Property Accountant. Her responsibilities include maintaining general ledgers; approving leasing commissions and tenant improvements; preparation of trend analysis and trial balance reviews; bank statement reconciliation; and the monitoring and maintenance of loan agreements, required escrow balances, and lender account reconciliations. Fixed asset reporting, year-end reporting and tax report filing also fall within the scope of Mrs. Douglas' responsibility.

Experience

Mrs. Douglas has been with the Company since January 2010. Prior to her joining our team Mrs. Douglas worked for Davis, Bowen and Friedel, Inc. in Salisbury, Maryland for 20 years where she started as an accounting specialist and was promoted to Finance Director in 1997. She was responsible for client billing, accounts receivable, client collections, accounts payable, cash management, and monthly reconciliations. Before her position with Davis, Bowen and Friedel, Inc. Mrs. Douglas worked for WMDT-TV 47 as a Payroll Clerk and an Accounts Receivable Agent.

Education/Milestones

Mrs. Douglas has an Associates of Arts degree in Accounting and computer skills in QuickBooks, U.S. Department of Defense WAWF, and Deltek.
